G H Dovener & Son Funeral Services opened at our current location in 2012, but dates back as far as 1937. Originally a packing case manufacturer in Weaver Street, Leeds, George Stanley Hawkswell Dovener decided to open in North Lane as Funeral Directors. He became a City Councillor for Far Headingley and was Deputy Lord Mayor. Our team will provide advice at every stage, and will arrange a unique funeral to help you celebrate the life of your loved one. We also offer Choice Funeral Plans which enable you to record your personal wishes and pay towards your funeral in advance, which could provide peace of mind to you and your family. If you would like to talk to us about planning a funeral, or our Choice plan, please come and see us, or arrange a home visit. We’re also available 24 hours a day on the phone.
